Thanks to........
Motorcycle racing is essentially an individual sport. When the lights go green it’s just you and your machine against everyone else on the grid. Getting to that grid is however, very much a team sport. I would not have been able to go racing without the support and understanding shown by a lot of people, especially my wife and parents. Had they not been 100% behind me, going racing would have remained but a dream, so thank you to:
Michele - long-suffering wife, lap-timer, race day therapist, gazebo manager and general all round good egg. You are the most tolerant person on this planet (at least on race weekends!) and I could not have done it without your support. Thank you, thank you, and thank you. Work on the cooking a bit and you've cracked it!!
Dad - closest thing I have to a sponsor (thanks for chipping in for tyres from time to time), being my number one (and only) fan, and solid racing pundit. Thank you.
Mum - for only turning up to two meetings, worrying (but not telling me) and putting up with general bike related silliness from me and Dad. Thanks.
Keith - Born again racer, very fast and smooth rider, and a bun eater extraordinaire. He's been there and got the T-shirt. Supplier of more "top tips" than a life-long subscription to Viz ! Thanks. Bike setup would not have happened without you!
Rita, Nigel, Adey, Steve, Brian, Barry, John L, John C, Mick, Scott, Denny, Sean & Debs and Andy & Ann - for turning up to see if it was really happening at various stages in my racing career. Sorry guys, it was! Thanks.
My Neighbours - for putting up with the noise of revving motorcycles. Thanks.
EMRA, Pegasus MCC, Darley Moor MCC and New Era for putting on some great racing over the years.
All the organisers, marshalls and medics who make racing possible. Thank you.
